One more day, another episode of boorishness. A 36-year-old woman Kanwal Javed was scorched alive in Karachi by her stepbrother and stepmother. Police have enrolled a case against the stepmother and stepbrother of the woman for their inclusion in her demise after she was taken to the hospital with consuming wounds from her home in the Gulistan-e-Jauhar area.
Her dad had before guaranteed that she ended it all in the wake of soaking herself in kerosene over a family debate. Yet, her brother Abdul Qadir asserted that she had not ended it all and that her stepmother and stepbrother had set her ablaze.
She was conceded to the Dr. Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital, where a cop, Amir Ali Soomro, recorded her assertion and cited the lady as saying that she had set herself ablaze in the light of the fact that she had gotten tired of homegrown issues. Her sibling, Abdul Qadir, in any case, held up a homicide FIR on Monday against his stepmother, Ms. Tanveer, and stepbrother, Moin Javed, expressing that they and his dad were against Kanwal’s chosen marriage. Qadir said that his sister had been unmarried and lived with their dad, stepmother, and stepbrother, adding that her stepfamily regularly beat her up and was not allowing her to get hitched. Following his objection, police enrolled FIR No. 982/21 against the stepmother Tanvir and the stepbrother Moin Javed.
Notwithstanding, the police said that they were exploring the situation from various points. No capture had been made until the recording of this report.
From that point forward #JusticeForKanwalJaved is moving over Twitter. Her sister shared the video portraying the entire scene. Words can’t of being molded to denounce this unpleasant episode. Where are we making a beeline for concerning our virtues?
