Hailing from Hunza Valley, Gilgit Baltistan, Anita is Pakistan’s first and only female MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighter. So far, she has won multiple national and international-level bouts. She was on the path to be a hero from a young age. With her three brothers being competitive MMA fighters, she was destined to be great. Along with her brothers, she founded MMA gym named “Fight Fortress”. Fight Fortress is one of the first MMA training centers in Pakistan.
At a very young age, she unleashed her powers and strength inside the ring as Pakistan’s first and only woman Mixed Martial Arts Champion. She has broken all the cliches and myths that women are frail and weak. I wonder is there any field left where women are not prevailing.
Her most heroic act and largest impact is her ability to provide people with hope. From young girls hoping to become MMA fighters to adults, she is able to inspire and provide hope to countless individuals. Her ability to overcome all odds, especially societal hostility towards women, provides hope to anyone with the odds stacked against them.
