In Karachi, policeman martyred by dacoit firing in an attempt to save a citizen from being robbed

A policeman was martyred in the firing of dacoits while trying to save a citizen from being robbed near Mina Bazaar in Karimabad area of Karachi while a robber who robbed a citizen was also killed in the incident.

According to police, a citizen was withdrawing money from an ATM near Karimabad Meena Bazaar when two accused on a motorcycle tried to rob him.

Police said that Head Constable Fayyaz Ali was on his way to duty when he saw the dacoits.

According to police, Fayyaz Ali was rushed to a hospital for medical treatment but succumbed to his injuries.

Police say 5 and 8 other shells of 9mm were found at the scene and are searching for the fugitive.

According to the citizen, the dacoit was also killed by the firing of a policeman.
