Assam: Two individuals were killed and 11 harmed on Thursday when Indian police committed savagery against Muslims in a bid to drive them from alleged infringements on government land.

The conflicts happened at Dholpur 3 in northern Assam’s Darrang region, one of the four spots where the police designated its enemy of infringement drive. Around 800 families have been removed from the land, who are blamed for “wrongfully involving” government property.

Two regular people are likely dead and two more harmed, alongside nine police faculty. A horde of at least 4,000 opposed the expulsion drive by tossing stones at the police and assaulting them with honed bamboo sticks," asserted Darrang’s Superintendent of Police, Sushanta Biswa Sarma.

A video from the occurrence has circulated the web via online media. In the video, a few Assam cops can be found in enemy of uproar gear, pitilessly whipping a man with sticks even as he lay still on the ground.

A man conveying a camera can be seen indignantly stepping the man’s face as he lays there on the ground, not moving. Another cop then, at that point, hops in and hits the man on the face with a stick before the others coax him to leave.

Pakistan’s minister of science and technology Fawad Chaudhary took to his Twitter handle to condemn the incident.

There are no medical teams, no water supplies, no toilets available. The Bengali-speaking women and children, as well as the men, in Assam, are forced to live under the open sky.
And the weather has not been kind to them.

The administration is telling them to move from there too. But where will they go? Asked Saddam Hussain, a social activist. Why we have become silent spectators to the oppression of Muslims? India has to stop its oppression against them, after all, Muslim lives matter!

Numan bin Bashir reported that the messenger of Allah said:

“The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion, and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever”
