Mohamed Salah overtakes Steven Gerrard to become Liverpool's all-time leading Champions League scorer

Mohamed Salah scored his 22nd Champions League goal for Liverpool on Wednesday, becoming the club’s all-time leading scorer in the competition.

The Egyptian ran clear and poked home after just 55 seconds – the quickest Liverpool goal in a Champions League game – against Midtjylland in a match that ended 1-1.
“Exceptional player, absolutely exceptional player,” Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said of Salah, who overtook the record held by former captain Steven Gerrard.
"Since we (have) worked together obviously a lot of things (have) clicked really for all of us.
