Rise against (s'elever contre)

She hangs about loosely⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
in a realm of possibilities -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Her yellow, dirt smitten headscarf⠀⠀⠀⠀
wraps intimately around her nonchalant head.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She waits almost patiently, one door bell,
Another- ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She has places to be, faces to see
To confront, clean.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Brim-witted, she walks on tawny streets, loitering⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
with the same dirt tattooing her sullen face⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
and chimney soaked scarf;⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Oh that headscarf-⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A slow sail through the air, a shout;
Rather scrawny,⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They know she’s home; it has been a long day.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s time to take in the familiar smell of turmeric, sick human flesh⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The seemingly annoying sounds of cough, cries - her orchestra⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And tonight, as she goes to sleep with her head wet with thoughts⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Her eyes - parched, dry⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She cannot wait to dream⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Of better days-⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Of paradise.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

/this poem has tried to capture the day in the life of a house help aka a maid. This is pure imagination and I hope and pray in the heart of my heart, life is easier for them than depicted here.
Any other interpretations are welcome and in fact, being looked forward to/
