Tedros Adhanom, head of the World Health Organization, quarantined himself over Corona’s fear.
In a message on social media, the WHO chief said he had met someone in recent days whose corona was positive, after which he had become isolated.
“I have no symptoms of corona and I am fine, but I will work from home according to WHO protocol,” said Tedros Adhanom.
“It is very important that we all follow the health guidelines so that we can protect the health system by preventing the transmission of the corona,” he said.
It is believed that more than 46 million people have been affected by the corona epidemic worldwide so far, while about 1,190,600 deaths have been recorded.
